Norway Summer - Day 3 : Rain

In the morning I said goodbye to the Germans and went on my way. They said that half an hour earlier a group of 40 people had started and I was happy I wasn't among them. It wasn't very warm and continued to rain. Walking went well, the route was clearly marked and easy to follow.

At first I met quite a lot of people but not later on. The weather also kept getting worse. My socks were wet because of all the mud, rivers and snow and my t-shirt moist from sweating. Near the end of the day I reached a mountain cabin. All other people there were eating dinner in the restaurant and would sleep in a bed. I had already slept on a campsite the past 2 nights so didn't allow myself such luxury.

Inside the cabin hung a weather prediction. It would be raining non-stop until the end of my hike. The amount of rain would be getting less over time though. After an hour of sitting inside my clothes were almost dry and I had eaten a bit, it had been hard to force myself to stop walking and eat while outside in the cold. The people inside seemed confused when I walked out into the rain at 18:30. After half an hour I was in a protected natural area where no camping was allowed, but it looked nice and I didn't have much of a choice so I decided to do it anyway. It started to rain harder again, I hoped it would be better in the morning so I could properly dry my clothes
