Norway Winter - Day 5
Today turned out to be the most beautiful day thus far. The sunlight was reflecting from all the ice crystal covered lakes. The ice was also thick enough to cross the lakes. Eventually I reached Oslo nearly a day sooner than planned, so decided to take a detour. The following day it would only take about half an hour to reach the outskirts of Oslo. After being on several winter trips where I desperately needed snowshoes, I now had been carrying snowshoes for 4 days with no need for them, all the snow was solid enough to walk on.
